Arctic Crafts & Stories of the Ookpik, the Snowy Owl

Every Saturday from 11:00 am - Noon and Sunday 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm

Have fun exploring the cultures of the arctic peoples with special emphasis on the ookpik, the snowy owl, and its significance to the different people of this region.

Crafts: Snow Goggles, Intuit Wall Hanging, and Snowy Owl Doll

Donor Appreciation Event & New Acquisitions Tour

6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Join us for food, wine, and music as we honor our donors who have given their time, funds, and treasures. We will recognize those in our 2016 Giving Circle during the reception, and then join Executive Director, Kathleen McDonald, on an exclusive tour of a selection of our 2016 acquisitions now on display. Discover insights into each piece, ranging from the artist's life to the cultural stories and influences of the artist's work.
