2021 Annual Virtual Benefit Gala

Join us for the Mitchell Museum of the American Indian’s (MMAI) first-ever virtual fundraising Gala on April 30th at 6:00 p.m. CT where we will award our inaugural Trailblazer Award to two Native Americans who have been leaders and innovators.

This year’s honorees are:

  • Ambassador Keith Harper, Cherokee Nation, Chair of the Native American Law Practice, Jenner & Block; Former Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the UN Human Rights Council
  • Tracy Monteith, Eastern Band Cherokee, Senior software engineer and co-creator of Indigenous Knowledge Graphs who lead the translation of Microsoft Windows and Office into the Cherokee syllabary.

Can’t make the Gala? You can still make a charitable donation to the Mitchell Museum, a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization.

Charitable donation of $25.00 to attend the Mitchell Museum of the American Indian – 2021 Annual Virtual Benefit Gala. Ticket holders will be provided information directly from the Mitchell Museum on how to attend.
